Well I just spent an hour writing a long blog post with associated pictures, pie charts etc and when I hit publish it in fact did not publish and instead deleted itself. This is why I don’t do blog posts very often lol, as a child of the 80’s my technology know-how is unfortunately lacking. Anywayyy, the one I wrote was a roundup of my comping stats which is a trend amongst people I know, so I’m going to rewrite it somewhat more briefly below.

People who follow my social media know that I’m a bit of a comper. Someone who enters competitions as a hobby. I have varying degrees of luck, but to put it in perspective I enter well over 1000 competitions a week, even more during December, so to get a win every month isn’t statistically unlikely. I spent 5 hours a day entering competitions during December and won zero so it’s not guaranteed by any means.

Best and worst prizes

Best is the £150 cash which for a very skint student parent is a god send lol. But I have a very special place in my heart for the signed books! ❤️

Worst is a £200 house clean from Milton and Molly Maid which showed up 2 months later as 6 bottles of industrial antibacterial cleaner. I won’t lie, as my biggest value prize ever won that one was a real disappointment!
